La Cocina is a Spanish term for “The Kitchen” or “Art of Cooking”. Our managing director Mr. Jeganathan is a Swiss-trained chef with extensive experience in hotel & catering trade in various countries. He was also with the world-famous cruise liner – Queen Elizabeth 2 for a period of 12 years. Mr. Jega’s years of experience means customers at La Cocina can expect the very best in food, wine, and service. La Cocina is not just about food & wine, it is an experience!
Jeganathan’s vast experience in western and local cuisine has enabled him to bring a unique taste of Spain. While we are most famous for our Paella, we are building an equal reputation for our sangria and tapas offerings as well.
Spanish signature dish, ‘Paella’ which is rice cooked in saffron broth with seafood or meat is a must-try at ‘La Cocina’. Another dish is the ‘Paella Negres’, rice cooked in squid ink is sinfully good, making it a specialty. A large selection of mouth-watering Tapas adds up to its culinary climax. The dining experience at this gem of a restaurant is a definite must.
